Royal Mail is looking for part time delivery postal staff with driving for both their Grimsby and Scunthorpe delivery offices.
From scorching summer days to the depths of winter, postal workers play a vital role, delivering the mail. It’s a physically demanding job – but it’s one the nation relies on.
You’ll need to cover periods of leave for a fixed number of routes, sort the mail for your route, check your vehicle and join a colleague for your round.
You’ll be happy working solo as well as part of a team with a good level of fitness, able to work under pressure and with the public.
Driving licence requirements A full UK manual driving licence (in your current UK address), with no more than six penalty points is essential, but a clean licence is preferred.

Kitchen Assistant/Waiter
Hours: Full-time, Part-time (Meets National Minimum/Living Wage)
McCormacks Bar in Cleethorpes is currently looking for a Kitchen Assistant/Waiter for their 2020 season.
The role will involve waiting on tables in the bar area, assisting with food preparation, cleaning food preparation areas and equipment, washing up, and generally assisting the kitchen team.
Maintaining a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen and food storage areas at all times. You will also be required to serve on the sweet bar, which will involve using a till and cash handling.
Applicants will need to be flexible in their working hours. A mixed shift system, including morning, afternoon, evening and weekend is currently in place. Experience of working in a pub environment preferred but not essential. Must be able to work weekends.

Funeral arranger
Contract type: 12 months fixed term contract
Hours: 20 hours per week (£9.44 – £10.50 per hour plus benefits)

You don’t need experience to do this job, just a genuine desire to help people at the time they need it most.
To help you learn the skills you need to deliver a first class funeral service, we’ll support you as you complete a level 2 apprenticeship.
As a funeral arranger you’ll be the first point of contact for clients – understanding their needs and helping them to plan the funeral.
What you’ll do: welcome clients, providing expert guidance and advising on the best services to meet their individual needs and budget. Be a supportive figure for clients and their families; assisting with family visits, answering queries.
Book appointments with the funeral director for the arrangement of funerals, taking details from clients and providing a thorough handover to the funeral director. Be comfortable holding the fort within the funeral home. Build strong relationships within the community playing an active part in making a difference for local causes. Be willing to support with manual handling of coffins and the deceased.

Contract type: Temporary to Permanent (12 weeks); long-term prospects for candidate’s dependant on performance and attendance
Hours: 8am-4pm Monday to Thursday and 8am – 3pm Friday (could flex dependant on business requirements). Pay: £8.21 until April 1, then minimum of £8.71 (will be reviewed before April, 2020).
A family run company is looking for a warehouse operative, for a team currently based in Brigg.
They pride themselves on products and services delivered, specialising in stationery and giftware; recently expanding their warehouse.
As a developing business, the company will be looking to relocate into Scunthorpe later in 2020 so the successful candidate will be required to have transport options to follow the team.
Duties: Unload deliveries on arrival/placing stock into coded locations. Use hand-held scanners to check in deliveries and log specific product locations. Use internal systems efficiently – full on the job training provided.
Work in line with health and safety requirements creating and maintaining a safe working environment. Complete relevant paperwork.
You should: Hold warehouse/goods-in experience. Have previous experience with internal systems. Be able to work against deadlines and KPI’s. Be able to work as part of a small team.
