FCA Product Chief Jheeta Returns to Cynozure as Advisor

November 6 2024

Analytics firm Cynozure has added Jagpal Jheeta, Chief Product Officer at the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), to its Advisory Board.

Cynozure promises to help clients reach their ‘data potential’, giving them what they need to make the most of the opportunities of new technology. This includes data management, architecture and engineering; change management and leadership; and data culture and literacy. The firm has offices in the UK, continental Europe and the US, and is a certified B-Corp. Its Advisory Board already includes recent appointees Ellie Norman, former Manchester United Chief Communications Officer and Formula 1 CMO; and Rose Attridge, former Group Data Governance Manager at builder’s merchant chain Travis Perkins; as well as Currys CDO Susie Moan and former insurance and financial services consulting head Kim Gray.

Jagpal (pictured) spent a decade at retail chains Debenhams and Marks and Spencer, as a Systems Developer, Business Analyst and Business Systems Manager before joining EYC (now Symphony EYC) for a six year stint culminating in a year as CTO. He returned to M&S in 2013 as Head of Technology – Information Management, before co-founding Cynozure in January 2016. He then worked for three and a half years as CIO Customer and International at Royal Mail, and joined the FCA in 2020 – initially as Head of Regulatory Systems and then as Chief Product Officer from February this year. At the FCA he has led technology initiatives driving its goal of becoming the first global financial services regulator to be fully in the cloud.

Cynozure CEO Jason Foster comments: ‘We are incredibly excited to welcome Jagpal back to Cynozure as a member of our Advisory Board. His extensive experience in technology and digital product development, combined with his proven track record in driving organisational change, will be invaluable to Cynozure as we continue to innovate and deliver impactful data and analytics solutions for our clients’.
