FedEx Reportedly Considers Freighter Purchases

FedEx (FDX) is reportedly considering a purchase of wide-body freighters from Boeing (BA) and Airbus. Bloomberg reported late yesterday that a potential order would include about 50 aircraft, aimed at updating FedEx’s fleet. FedEx is considering Boeing 737 planes as well as Airbus A330s, although secondhand 767s may also be part of a purchase.
