FedEx Sees 12 Percent Increase In Holiday Shipment Volume – Update

Package delivery giant FedEx Corp. (FDX) on Monday forecast record shipment volumes during the 2011 holiday season. The company expects a 12 percent increase in shipments during the holiday season compared to last year, driven by growing e-commerce shipments. The company also said it will add about 20,000 seasonal workers to help handle the surge in holiday shipments.
