FedEx to increase overnight shipping rates by 6.9% (InternetRetailer.com)

FedEx Express, which provides next-day deliveries to residential and business addresses through air transport, will increase its shipping rates by an average of 6.9% effective Jan. 5, 2009, FedEx Corp. says.
