Fewer Bergen, Passaic residents qualify for emergency food stamps due to Sandy

Fewer than 300 people in Passaic and Bergen counties qualified for emergency food stamps because of hardships caused by superstorm Sandy, a far cry from last year when more than 23,000 received the aid with few questions asked after Hurricane Irene.
