Fife Council gives out advice amid postal vote delays

The local authority has said that they are aware of the hold-ups and are asking those who are still waiting to be patient.

Sharing advice online, the council said: “If you applied by June 7, it’s in the post and will be with you soon.

“If you applied for one between June 8 – 19, it will be sent out by the weekend.

“If you applied up to June 7 and you haven’t received your postal vote by Friday at the latest (June 28) please email postals@fife.gov.uk and we will consider issuing a replacement.

“Keep an eye on your post. Once your ballot paper arrives, complete it, and return it as soon as possible.”
