Final Royal Mail posting dates for Christmas presents and cards for December 2021

With Christmas day fast approaching, ensuring cards, presents and parcels make it to their destination by December 25 is hard enough when you’re Santa.

For us mere mortals, lots of us will be relying on the Post Office.

As the pandemic continues, it will mean yet again some families may be unable to come together to celebrate Christmas due to people self-isolating.

Therefore, some people will be unable to give their seasonal gifts to loved ones in person – especially to those who live outside of Northamptonshire and abroad.

However, as delivery services now face the festive rush, services such as the Royal Mail have released the last posting dates for presents.

The delivery service is urging people to not leave it to the last minute as ongoing Covid restrictions and winter weather conditions are impacting transportation locally and globally, reported Buckinghamshire Live.

Unfortunately, if you needed to send parcels to Asia, Africa, Central and South America, the time has sadly passed.

At NorthantsLive we’re more than just news. We cover what people are talking about every day and celebrate the very best that this incredible part of the world has to offer.
