Let the battle commence! Two pub owners have joined forces to search for the town’s best singer.
The heat is on, as performers will be going head-to-head in a brand new competition which is being held in Spalding on Saturday (February 21).
The finale of Spalding’s Got Talent is set to bring together passionate performers who have been battling it out to secure the top spot.
In the run up to the new event, owners of The Royal Mail Cart and The Punchbowl partnered with The Sessions House to host auditions at their regular open mic nights.
The ‘town’s best voice’ will be crowned at the final at the historic venue on Sheep Market from 7pm.
Paula Stephenson, landlady at The Punchbowl, said: “We are definitely looking forward to the finale – it should be a good night.
“We’ve received quite a bit of interest and it would be nice if it could become a regular thing.”
Padraig, of The Royal Mail Cart, added: “It should be a good experience for people.”
Tickets for the event cost £8 for early bird and £10 for general admission. For more information and to book your tickets visit The Sessions House website.
