The Christmas delivery deadlines for post to those serving in the Operational British Forces have been announced by the Royal Mail.

Do you have a deadline for sending your Christmas mail?

Posting Christmas items early gives you the best chance of them arriving in plenty of time for your loved ones.

If you’re sending Christmas cards or gifts to members of the British Armed Forces, you’ll need to be aware of the special, earlier deadlines.

Customers have been warned by Royal Mail to get their Christmas mail organized as soon as possible to ensure that it reaches their friends and family in time for the holidays.

You’ll want to make sure your Christmas greetings reach those serving in the British Armed Forces, especially if you’re sending cards or gifts.

Christmas is Royal Mail’s busiest season, and the company is hiring 20,000 new employees to ensure that everyone’s Christmas cards and packages arrive on time.

Even if you have a lot of extra hands, you can assist Royal Mail by posting items ahead of time.

“Allow plenty of time for posting,” advises Royal Mail.

“Please send Christmas items and gifts early, especially for international deliveries.

“Continued Covid restrictions, reduced air and freight capacity, high volumes, and winter weather conditions are all having an effect on transportation and local delivery around the world.”
