First class result at rare stamp auction
Peterborough Today A STAMP which cost just one penny 160 years ago has been sold for £270 at an auction. What is thought to have been the first letter with a Penny Black stamp sent to the Peterborough area was sold at Spink, in Bloomsbury, London, last week. |
