First-class stamps to increase by 2 cents Monday

The price of a first-class stamp will increase by 2 cents on Monday, rising from 42 to 44 cents, according to officials with the US Postal Service. The increase is due to rising costs and inflation, said USPS spokesman David Partenheimer.
