Sir Elton John is feeling first class after getting his own set of stamps.
The pop legend, 72, said: “Never did I think I’d appear on a stamp…! It’s wonderful, a great honour.”
The only other individual music artist to have a dedicated set was David Bowie in 2017.
Eight of the stamps show images of the Rocket Man singer’s most popular album covers, including Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, Caribou, Sleeping With The Past and Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy.
The other four celebrate Sir Elton’s live performances.
Royal Mail Philip Parker said the stamps “celebrate his fantastic musical contribution”.
