Flagstaff History: Post Office was thriving under Taft administration

From 1887 — A pleasant party went down to the ruins of the Cliff Dwellings at Walnut Creek on Sunday last and had a very enjoyable time. This canyon, with its wonderful relics of a prehistoric race, is one of the most interesting sights to be found in the country.
