Food stamps go uncollected throughout the Big Bend (Tallahassee Democrat)

Thousands of people across the state aren’t applying for the food stamps they’re eligible for despite the souring economy, according to federal and state agencies, leaving more than a billion dollars in federal aid unspent every year.
