Eduardo Salvio has been accused of striking his wife Magali Aravena with a car. It’s reported the incident happened in Puerto Madero, Buenos Aires.
Aravena reportedly claimed the Argentine international drove forward towards her, hitting her with his car. A source claimed to The Sun: “Prosecutors are working to collect evidence. Salvio won’t escape from the police.”
However, a legal representative of Salvio has reported the athlete will issue a statement. The footballer will reportedly speak to police to offer his version of events.

Eduardo Salvio allegedly ‘struck’ wife with car
Buenos Aires police have reportedly opened an enquiry after Salvio’s wife claimed an incident took place in the early hours of Thursday morning. According to Ole, Aravena claimed Salvio drove his car towards her.
A police spokesperson said: “The woman went over to speak with her husband, who was in his car with another woman. The suspect drove forward, and struck Mrs Aravena.”

“We were called by city police, and found a woman with trauma to her lower right leg,” said Buenos Aires ambulance chief Alberto Crescenti.
Her injury was light and she was not taken to hospital, Crescenti said.
Police have not yet officially confirmed if Salvio is wanted for questioning in relation to the incident.
Salvio’s lawyer Mariano Cuneo Libarona said the footballer was “anxious” to meet with police and offer his version of events, reports The Daily Star.
He said Salvio would attend a police station shortly to give a statement.
The lawyer added: “He will present witnesses, videos and several pieces of evidence that will prove his innocence.”
“He’s not guilty of anything.”
Mr Cuneo Libarona further claimed: “His car has been destroyed, everything was broken and we’re going to present proof.”
Who is Salvio’s wife?
Salvio’s wife is Magali Aravena, a model and owner of a swimsuit collection. She has 132 thousand followers on Instagram, but her account is private.
Magali was born on March 30th 1989, making her 33 years old.
The swimsuit line was launched for the 2018 season. It consists of bikinis and swim suits with “a unique and modern style, full of elegance and attitude.”
Miami Swim Week described Magali as a former model who has “a strong passion for fashion and who has decided to create a brand with her own name.”
What teams has Salvio played for?
Eduardo Salvio began his career playing for Lanús in 2008 before moving to Europe to play for Atlético Madrid. With this team he won two UEFA Europa League.
Salvio has also played for Benefica in Portugal. With Benefica, Salvio won four Primeira Liga titles, two Taça de Portugal, four Taça da Liga and three Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira.
The footballer has also represented his country, Argentina, since 2009. He currently plays for Boca Juniors in Argentina.
