Full list of Royal Mail 2022 strike dates including Black Friday

Workers at Royal Mail are set to strike again. A full list of dates have been released which will affect people who are waiting for parcels and letters.

Royal Mail workers were set to hold 19 days of strike action during peak postal times in the lead up to Christmas. The Communication Workers Union (CWU) said that strikes over pay and condition disputes will cover Black Friday and Cyber Monday – two of the busiest shopping days of the year.

The next Royal Mail strike will be a 48-hour action taking place from Friday, September 30, until Saturday, October 1.

When is the next postal strike?

Staff represented by the CWU Union have already walked out over three days in August and September, causing widespread disruption.

A fourth strike was due to take place on Friday 9 September, but this was cancelled after news broke that the Queen had died, reports inews.

When are the rest of the Royal Mail strikes in 2022?

Four days of widespread action involving all CWU workers have also been organised. There will be 24-hour walkouts beginning at 4am on:

  • Thursday, October 13
  • Thursday, October 20
  • Tuesday, October 25
  • Monday, November 28
