Fury as Royal Mail axes Liverpool’s Copperas Hill sorting office (Liverpool Echo)

BUSINESS Secretary John Hutton will not block Royal Mail’s bid to axe Copperas Hill. The company yesterday confirmed the Liverpool sorting centre would close in 2009 with work transferred to Warrington.
