RESIDENTS, an independent watchdog and politicians have slammed plans to close eight sub-post offices in Newham. Branches in East Ham, Plaistow, Stratford, Forest Gate, Manor Park and Little Ilford are among those earmarked for closure under proposals announced by the Post Office.
