A seemingly surprising bug on the GAME website is helping PS5 customers buy consoles TODAY – 24 hours after a double drop of restocks at the high street giant.
PS5 trackers have shared the “loophole” which can reportedly be used by GAME customers with consoles in their baskets.
One tracker wrote: “I’m getting messages from some followers who had their checkout crashed on yesterday’s GAME drop, but visited back their basket this morning & overnight, with success in checking out. This only applies for those who had their basket/checkout crash, worth a try? Let me know! #PS5 ”
But another customer replied: “They may get their order cancelled, even if they have had the confirmation email. All orders are manually checked prior to despatch.”
The tracker duly responded: “Yeah you’re true, could possibly get cancelled. But any chance is a chance, so it’s worth a try.”
“Definitely, just don’t get excited until Royal Mail confirm receipt for delivery! Got mine today…..” another wrote.
Another replied: “Happened to me on the drop at the start of Feb. Come to find it still in the basket when they dropped again at the end of Feb (2 weeks later)… arrived yesterday (cropped cause I was pulling a stupid face)”
“IT WORKED!!!! But I had to add another item to basket for checkout to work!!!!” said another comment.
“Got one yesterday after being in the queue for 5 hours, no money taken out yet but got another e-mail after the confirmation one that said it will be taken out in the next five days :)” added another Twitter user.
Another wrote: “Wow. I just went in to my, seemingly empty basket, and there it was just sitting there waiting to be paid for. Ordered and just had confirmation email. Amazing tweet. Well done guys. Buzzing especially after sitting in the queue for 5 hrs yesterday only to be told OOS @ checkout!”
