Gas Prices Leave Little on Food Pantry’s Shelves (WREX-TV Rockford)

ROCKFORD- As the cost of fuel increases so does the price of groceries. Just last month, 19,000 families in Winnebago County alone used food stamps to put a meal on the table, something that gets more and more difficult. But with food stamps not going as far as they used to, a domino effect is being felt on several levels at the Rock River Valley Pantry.
