A United States Post Office representative told locals at a meeting on Wednesday that Bethesda was getting a new post office because it was “a booming area,” contradicting an earlier email sent to The Gazette by a USPS spokeswoman that parking issues at 6900 Wisconsin Ave. were the reason.
