Gene Simmons Congratulates Mick Jagger And Keith Richards On Their Royal Mail Stamp

KISS bassist Gene Simmons shared a post to reflect his feelings and ideas about the news after Reuters revealed that The Rolling Stones’ Mick Jagger and Keith Richards were honored with their own royal stamps on Twitter.

As a British international postal service, Royal Mail has drawn significant attention thanks to its longevity and quality for many years. Recently, the company announced that they teamed up with The Rolling Stones members Jagger and Richards to celebrate the band’s 60th anniversary.

The Rolling Stones will be honored with 12 unique stamps, including the band’s unforgettable live performances such as Hyde Park in July 1969, New York in July 1972, Knebworth in August 1976, and Tokyo in March 1995, along with the late drummer Charlie Watts to pay tribute to him.

The collection also features the band’s photoshoots and iconic promotional posters. The Rolling Stones is the fourth band to get featured stamps alongside The Beatles, Pink Floyd, and Queen. Thus, Gene Simmons wanted to congratulate Jagger and Richards by highlighting that it’s a well-deserved honor.

Reuters’ tweet read:

“Britain’s Royal Mail will issue a set of stamps featuring the Rolling Stones’ performances worldwide to honor the rock band as they mark their 60th anniversary.”

Simmons responded:

“Congratulations, Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. Well deserved, Sirs!”
