TGJones, formerly WHSmith, at 177 Sauchiehall Street will close its doors after they were unable to find another suitable location.
A spokesperson for the brand did not confirm a closing date, however, the Glasgow Times previously reported the Post Office located inside the store was set to close on Saturday, May 16.

In a letter issued to customers, the Post Office said the closure follows the resignation of the retail partner and the withdrawal of the premises for Post Office use.
The company said that when a branch closes unexpectedly, it carries out a comprehensive review of the network to ensure it continues to meet customer needs.
At a Garnethill Neighbourhood Watch (GNW) meeting on Thursday, March 12, attended by the Glasgow Times, Martin Rhodes MP said Royal Mail would be willing to reopen a Post Office in a shop in the area if a suitable alternative was found.

“We tried to find an alternative location but unfortunately have been unable to find anything suitable.
“We are working with the Post Office as they seek a new partner for Glasgow and are supporting our colleagues during this difficult time.”
