Go-Ahead Group Appoints Sarah Mussenden CFO

Go-Ahead Group PLC said Wednesday that Sarah Mussenden has been appointed chief financial officer effective May 9, and that interim CFO Gordon Boyd will remain in the role until the end of March.

The U.K. public-transport operator said Ms. Mussenden has extensive experience across a number of sectors, including her present role as interim CFO at Royal Mail PLC. The company said her previous roles include CFO at Centrica Consumer Services (British Gas), Barts and the London NHS Trust, and financial director at British Airways, part of International Consolidated Airlines Group SA.
Shares at 0844 GMT were up 47.50 pence, or 8.6%, at 601 pence.
