Go Inspire has appointed a marketing big hitter and seasoned agency chief to its board as it looks to embark on its next five-year growth plan and accelerate its evolution into a strategic managed services partner.
Jonathan Harman has joined the group as non-executive director to support its goal of becoming a “true marketing performance partner”.
He joined the board on 1 April.
In his 30-plus year marketing career, Harman has headed UK and EMEA agencies for the likes of WPP and Omnicom and was previously managing director, Media at Royal Mail Group.
He’s currently executive chair of private equity backed independent media agency The Kite Factory, and will bring his experience to ensure Go Inspire helps its clients “solve their most important and complex business and marketing challenges”.
“Today’s CMOs need agile partners who focus relentlessly on delivering commercial outcomes. By doing this, Go Inspire have earned long-tenured relationships with some of the UK’s largest advertisers. I’m really looking forward to joining the team as we seek to grow the business further,” he said.
The group already works with blue chip brands including British Gas, BT, Close Brothers, TalkTalk and Tesco and recently won a multimillion pound deal with BT.
“The group has always been deeply invested in our clients’ success. That’s probably why we tend to keep those client relationships for decades – on the merit and measurement of what we deliver year in year out,” said Go Inspire CEO Patrick Headley.
“That attitude remains the basis for our next development phase – moving from service partner to business performance partner, sharing in both the risk and the reward of our clients’ business ambitions.
“Having Jonathan on board to insert his wisdom and experience will help gain even more momentum on our journey.”
