Pending approval by the PGA Tour’s Policy Board later this month, the historic Texas Open in San Antonio could shift from its current October slot in the lightly regarded Fall Series to an April or May date in the FedEx Cup lineup, effective in 2009, following the demise of the AT&T Classic in Atlanta.
