Six stamps depict the majestic trees, valleys and lakes of forests in Wales, England, Northern Ireland and Scotland
Here’s a special de-leafery from Royal Mail…
These new stamps feature stunning views of some our favourite forests from across the four countries in the UK.
The six-strong collection — which includes a stamp depicting Sherwood Forest, the mythical home of Robin Hood — marks the Forestry Commission centenary.
The other forests included are Coed y Brenin, Glenariff, Kielder, Glen Affric and finally Westonbirt, The National Arboretum.
The stamps go on sale next Tuesday at www.royalmail.com and in post offices nationwide.
The release follows the bizarre news in May about fraudulent Royal Mail postage stamps that showed Dianne Abbott’s face instead of the Queen’s.
