Government sells 15% of Royal Mail at £5 a share
The Guardian Royal Mail shares closed on Wednesday at 516.5p, a 57% increase on the 330p float price. The government floated 60% of the company in October 2013 and was accused of selling a national asset too cheaply after the shares spiked 38% on their debut.
