Grace Kelly’s granddaughter Charlotte Casiraghi of Monaco celebrates second wedding

Grace Kelly’s granddaughter Charlotte Casiraghi of Monaco stunned in an off-the-shoulder gown at a second wedding ceremony in France this weekend.

The bride, 32, wore a custom Giambattista Valli dress for the religious event in Saint-Remy-de-Provence.

The ruffled frock featured delicate sheer sleeves and an unusual neckline with chiffon detailing.

Charlotte showed off her glowing complexion by keeping her makeup to a minimum and wearing her hair in a chignon.

She married film producer Dimitri Rassam, 37, in a civil ceremony at the royal palace on June 1.

The pair chose the Abbaye Sainte-Marie de Pierredon in Provence for the second occasion as a nod to Charlotte’s childhood, reports People.

She and her brothers moved to the area with their mother Princess Caroline after her father Stefano died when she was just four years old.

The bride’s bouquet of lavender sprigs is also a reference to the region, as it is known for its fields of the fragrant flower.

A source told People: ‘It is this particular love of Provence she wants to share with her family and friends.’

Prince Albert II of Monaco, Princess Caroline of Hanover and Alexandre de Hanover were all reportedly guests at the event.

At last month’s ceremony, Charlotte donned a stunning diamond necklace once owned by her grandmother as she joined her new husband for the gala dinner at a private mansion.

The couple delighted royal fans by releasing a photo from the event on Facebook.

The image shows the couple gazing lovingly into each other’s eyes while posing on the terrace of the Villa La Vigie, an exclusive property with views across the Mediterranean.

Charlotte donned a satin, strapless gown for the occasion and wore her hair in a sleek chignon worthy of a Old Hollywood starlet.

The style complemented her heirloom Cartier necklace, which was gifted to Kelly by husband Prince Rainier III of Monaco on their wedding in 1956. The couple also wed at the royal palace.

Meanwhile newlywed Dimitri, who shares a seven-month-old son Balthazar with Charlotte, looked every inch the leading man in his white tuxedo. He wore his long brown locks swept back in a suave style.

Photos shared on social media from the private affair reveal Princess Charlene of Monaco was among the guests who partied the night away under the stars.

The bride’s mother, Princess Caroline of Hanover, was the picture of elegance in a black and blush pink strapless gown.

The evening event marked the culmination of a day of festivities, starting with the couple’s intimate civil service that afternoon.

The couple were married in front of a small number of friends and family, who are rumoured to have included Princess Caroline, Princess Charline and the bride’s uncle Prince Albert II of Monaco.

The bride’s brothers, Andrea Casiraghi, 34, and Pierre Casiraghi, 31, and their respective wives, Tatiana Santo Domingo, 35, and Beatrice Borromeo, 33, are also thought to have been present.

Dimitri’s model mother Carole Bouquet, his half-brother Louis Giacobetti and his Oscar-winning producer cousin Thomas Langmann are all thought to have supported the groom.

The bride’s five-year-old son Raphael, from a previous relationship with comedian Gad Elmaleh, and Dimitri’s seven-year-old daughter, Darya, from his previous marriage, were also present.

A picture shared shortly after the service shows the couple walking hand-in-hand through beautiful gardens.
