Grace Kelly’s grandson Louis Ducruet and his wife Marie have welcomed their new baby girl into the world – and revealed the sweet name they chose for her.
The Monaco royal, 32, and Marie shared news of the birth of their daughter on social media on Wednesday evening.
The couple made a joint Instagram post and revealed that they had named their newborn Constance Ducruet.
They added that their eldest daughter, one-year-old Princess Victoire, could not wait to meet her little sister.
Louis, who is the son of Princess Stephanie of Monaco and Daniel Ducruet, and Marie wrote: ‘Our family is growing again with the arrival of our little Constance. Someone was eager to meet her.’
They shared the statement along with Constance’s pink tag, which stated her name and her date of birth.
She was pictured wrapped up in a fluffy rose-coloured blanket with Victoire seen holding onto the side of her cot.
In another snap, Victoire was also seen clutching onto her sister’s little hand in sweet scenes inside the hospital.

Constance, which is thought to be a French name, means steadfastness and constancy.
The post racked up thousands of likes from overjoyed royal fans who sent their well wishes to the couple.
One wrote: ‘Congratulations to both of you and welcome little Constance. My niece also has this name and it’s beautiful. Rest well.’
Another penned: ‘Congratulations and all of my best wishes to your wonderful family.’
A third said: ‘Constance, what a beautiful name.’
A fourth commented: ‘Congratulations to the happy parents and welcome little Constance.’
Louis and Marie – who welcomed Victoire in 2023 – first announced that they were expecting their second child in June.

Meanwhile, Pancake wore a bandana reading: ‘Oh no, not again!’
The couple’s joint caption read: ‘Pancake and goldilocks have an announcement to make.
‘They are waiting for a new member in the fraternity, the family is growing!’
The post has amassed over 3,600 ‘likes’ in the past 24 hours and followers were quick to congratulate the couple.
Beatrice Borromeo – who is married to Louis’ cousin Pierre Casiraghi – commented: ‘Congratulations!! What joy!!’
Louis and Marie- who were college sweethearts – tied the knot in a civil ceremony in Monaco’s cathedral in front of hundreds of guests in 2019.
The couple were married by Monaco’s mayor George Marsan and they then had an informal garden reception in the Prince’s Palace.

At the time, Daniel was engaged to Martine Malbouvier, who was expecting their first child. At the time Stephanie and Daniel went public, Martine was six months pregnant and gave birth to her son, Michaël Ducruet in February 1992.
The pair divorced in 1996 after Daniel was caught cheating with Miss Bare Breast of Belgium 1995.
