GRAHAM tops out at £70m Bendigo Building PBSA

GRAHAM has reached a construction milestone – topping out at the Bendigo Building purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) scheme in Nottingham.

The 13-storey tower includes 417 studios, 208 cluster apartments and 36 accessible rooms. Amenities include a gym, festival zone with breakout areas and meeting rooms, landscaped garden, secure car parking and cycle storage.

Located at the intersection of Bath Street and Brook Street, the PBSA development sits at the heart of Nottingham’s Creative Quarter.

The Bendigo Building is being developed by Bricks Group and will be operated by its subsidiary true student. The scheme is set to have already delivered £6m in social economic returns, provided construction careers, and injected £8m into the local economy.

The Bendigo Building once functioned as a Royal Mail sorting office. Following almost two decades of vacancy, the redevelopment will bring new vibrancy to the area alongside accommodation for students, offering great connectivity to Nottingham Trent University, Nottingham train station and high street in under half a mile away.
