Hecker debacle embroils pals’ bank

With his fondness for Rolexes and other fine jewelry, Denny Hecker was one of the best customers at Royal Jewelers, a Fargo, N.D., store owned by Richard Olson and his family, running up a $200,000 tab at one point. Over a 25-year friendship, Hecker and Olson attended each other’s family events and parties and even purchased a $3 million condominium together.
