THE ROYAL MAIL in Thorgumbald is holding a charity event in aid of little Louie Turner, who is suffering from a rare form of cancer. His family are trying to raise one hundred thousand pounds (£100,000) to get him to America for life-saving treatment and have six months to do so. He is 2 years old and has spent the last year in hospital, his family are local people with his Mum having been brought up in Thorngumbald.
On Easter Sunday from 3.00 pm we are holding a quiz, raffle and auction with our own “DJ Greggers” at the New Royal Mail. There will be fun to be had by all – with some fantastic raffle prizes!
