Many little ones will be hoping that Santa will deliver the gifts they’ve been dreaming of this Christmas.
But, the jolly man in the red suit can’t fulfil their wishes if he doesn’t know what they are.
That’s why every year, countless children pen their letters to Santa, listing their heart’s desires for him to bring down the chimney. And there’s nothing quite like receiving a reply from Father Christmas himself to reassure them that their requests have been noted.
To keep the festive magic alive for your bairns, it’s crucial not to miss the deadline for their letter from Santa.
Mum Emma Louise, known on Instagram as @willow_andtheboys, took to the platform to share the news with other parents that the Royal Mail has disclosed the address to send letters this year. They’ve also announced the final date you can post your letter to ensure you receive a response.
She posted a brief video taken at an ice skating rink with all the details overlaid as text. It read: “Royal Mail have announced the last posting date for a free letter from Santa, which is December 9th 2024.
“Send your letters to – Royal Mail Letter From Santa, Father Christmas, Santa’s Grotto, Reindeerland, XM4 5HQ.”
The post garnered over 5,000 likes as many tagged their mates to share the information.
The Royal Mail has provided guidelines for sending letters to Santa, advising that you should write his address carefully on the envelope, affix a stamp to ensure delivery, and include your full name and address on the back.
While the Royal Mail notes that replies from Santa are not guaranteed, he has said: “I’ll be replying to as many of your letters as I am able to from Monday 18 November; but there are a lot of you, so your letter needs to reach the North Pole by Monday 9 December.”
For those requiring braille responses, arrangements can be made by contacting santamail@royalmail.com or by writing to Santa’s usual address.
