The Melrose Post Office will have special Christmas Eve hours, according to Postmaster Peter Straka. The Wednesday, Dec. 24 hours will be from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The normal daily hours will apply on Wednesday, Dec. 31, New Year’s Eve day.
