Please don’t keep your address a secret – or we may be unable to rescue or treat you. That’s the plea today (Tuesday December 10) from NHS Western Isles.
NHS Western Isles is encouraging members of the public to ensure that their home addresses (numbers/names, etc) are made as clear as possible on properties, gates, or walls, so that healthcare staff aiming to provide care or treatment are able to find properties as quickly and easily as possible.
They say: “:We are aware in certain areas that addresses/croft numbers are not clearly visible from the road, and often cannot be accessed on Satellite Navigation systems.
“By helping make your address, and the addresses of those you care for, details clearer, this will help us to ensure that care and treatment can continue to be delivered in as quick a timescale as possible.”
