Get those lists written to Santa before it’s too late!
Kids wanting to send a letter to Santa this year can do it – and get a reply – but only if you’re fast. The reminder comes as financial experts at Martin Lewis’ Money Saving Expert (MSE) issued a warning in their weekly newsletter about the festive season.
According to MSE, as part of their Christmas Deals Predictor, you can send and receive a letter to Father Christmas – and the deadline is less than a month away. It explained: “Some companies charge up to £10 to reply to kids’ letters to Father Christmas.
“Yet if you apply to Royal Mail, you could get a response from Santa for the price of a stamp (£1.70 first-class, 87p second-class).” The deadline this year is Wednesday, December 10.
Did you know that braille replies can be arranged by customers emailing santamail@royalmail.com. And in a new addition this year, children can get BSL replies, which customers can arrange if they email santamail@royalmail.com.
As stated on the Royal Mail Group website, you need to act quickly to ensure Santa has time to read the letters. In a statement, Santa said he’s looking forward to Christmas and that it’s a “very exciting but busy time for me.”
He added: “The elves are busy making toys. The reindeer are practising their sleigh runs. And I’m busy preparing my list of who’s been good. I will be getting my sleigh ready for the long journey on Christmas Eve. In between I will try and reply to as many of you as possible.”

Don’t forget
The Royal Mail have asked people to write Santa’s address carefully on the envelope. You should also remember to put a stamp on the envelope so it reaches Santa in time – and don’t forget to include your full name and address on the back of the envelope.
Santa concluded: “I’m looking forward to delivering your presents on Christmas Eve. Make sure you remember my mince pie and Rudolph’s carrot!”
