HP Indigo has revealed that e commerce business Shutterfly is set to install 35 Indigo 120K digital presses as part of a multi-year agreement.
Announced during HP Imagine 2026, HP Indigo said US company Shutterfly, which specialises in personalised products and custom design, would begin the first phase of deployment of the new machines this year.
The deal is said to represent a “significant expansion” of the longstanding relationship between the two companies, which have worked together since 2001 when Shutterfly installed its first Indigo press.
As part of the new agreement, the business will upgrade its entire current fleet of Indigo B2 digital presses to Indigo 120K digital presses.
“This agreement reflects the depth of our longstanding relationship with Shutterfly,” said Oran Sokol, head of global sales at HP Industrial Print.
“Shutterfly has consistently understood what it takes to lead in personalised, high-volume production and HP Indigo technology provided the foundation to make that possible.
“This latest milestone is one of the most significant long-term, fleet-wide investments in digital production, and it reflects how we continue to build and advance the industry together.”
Shutterfly chief operations officer Dwayne Black added: “This decision is about positioning Shutterfly for the next phase of growth.
“For 25 years, HP Indigo has been a trusted collaborator as we scaled personalisation and innovation across our operations.
“Upgrading our entire fleet will drive meaningful efficiencies and quality in our peak season, and more broadly reflects our confidence in the technology, the collaboration, and the long-term opportunities ahead as digital production continues to evolve.”

The agreement also includes consumables, services, and software.
