A rapid return of people attending face-to-face events has boosted the fortunes of both Hyve Group and its investors. The London-listed exhibitions provider, which was forced to cancel hundreds of shows and conferences over the past couple of years because of pandemic lockdowns and travel restrictions, said yesterday that total revenues for the six months to the end of June had fully recovered on a pro-forma basis, with Hyve having run all nine of its scheduled events, except for three in Ukraine.
Hyve, which puts on business events worldwide, said that the European version of its Shoptalk conference this month had nearly doubled expectations, attracting more than 3,000 attendees from over 50 countries.
