A woman took a gamble on buying unclaimed lost luggage from a London airport and was stunned by the suitcase’s contents.
Fashion blogger and thrift shopping enthusiast, Becky Chorlton, bought the luggage for £130 via the website Undelivrd, known for selling unclaimed Royal Mail and UPS parcels, returns from Amazon and John Lewis, and even lost airport luggage. To her amazement, upon opening her suitcase, she discovered a treasure trove that included an iPad among other items.
When Becky opened the suitcase, one of the first things to catch her eye was a pair of UGG boots. She took to TikTok to recount her experience with Undelivrd, posting: “I bought unclaimed lost luggage from London Heathrow Airport and here’s how it went. I’ll pop the listing up on screen now of where I got it from but this is what ended up arriving at my door.”
In the clip, she mentions:”If anyone recognises this suitcase then do let me know because I’d love to reunite you with all your belongings. Okay, so all the luggage they sell is unclaimed, apparently the airport do absolutely everything to track down the owner for months but unfortunately sometimes the only other option is to burn it which isn’t great for the environment or remove any personal info and sell it.”
She added: “This is actually my third time ordering one of these and let me tell you it’s definitely a risk but honestly, it’s so much fun. Once I’d taken off the black wrapping this is the suitcase that was underneath.
“It was this pink one which was absolutely huge. It had this heavy sticker on the side and let me tell you, it was definitely heavy. I could barely even move it.”
As she got to the exciting part, Becky unzipped the suitcase, continuing: “Anyway, now it’s time for the moment of truth and to whack open the case to see what’s inside and here’s what I could see when I opened the case. It was absolutely jam packed full and I instantly spotted a pair of UGG boots which is absolutely crazy. Make sure you come back for part 2 where we go through each thing in this case.”
The fashion blogger’s TikTok video received an impressive 13.4 million views, 382,000 likes and 1,168 comments. Many users asked to see ‘part 2’, prompting Becky to post a follow-up video going through each item in the suitcase.
In the second video, she said: “The first thing I ended up seeing were these black sparkly UGG boots. I have absolutely no idea if they’re real or not but they were brand new so who knows.”
Women’s UGG boots can cost anywhere from £135 to £270 from the official retailer, although many high street stores offer similar styles. UGG boots are a popular choice in winter due to their fur interior and suede exterior.
Becky continued: “The next thing I saw were these Juicy Couture slides and then I spotted this box of Pokemon cards which is so random. I have no idea why you need to take them on holiday but there you go.”
Becky revealed: “Next up I got two pairs of hair straighteners and then I spotted this Apple logo on this iPad which is absolutely mad. I plugged it in and the charging symbol and the welcome screen came up so I have no idea if it works or not but I’m feeling hopeful.”
She then found women’s clothes from SHEIN, including an LA slogan t-shirt, pink hoodie, and black dress, as well as men’s toiletries, women’s makeup, baby Adidas trainers, and a toy tractor. Over 1,500 people commented on the TikTok video, with one user speculating that the suitcase “belonged to a family on holiday.”
Another added: “It’s crazy to think that a person would not get their luggage after packing their valuable items? Like what happened to that person?”
Some suggested the owner could track the iPad, while a sympathetic user said they “would be sad losing this”. A smart traveller advised: “Moral of this is always put an airtag in your luggage!”
