I’m a Celeb: Rev. Richard Coles jokes he slept with a Royal

It emerged after a conversation between GK Barry and the Reverand where the topic of religion came up.

GK Barry asked Rev. Richard what his life in the church had been like as a gay man, to which he said he hadn’t really faced any issues.

A little bit later on she asked Rev. Richard about the famous people he’d met and if he’d encountered a member of the Royal Family.

When asked what they were like he joked: “Great in bed”.

I’m a Celeb fans baffled by Rev. Richard Coles’ comment

Perhaps understandably the comment got some reaction out of viewers, with some taking to X (formerly known as Twitter) to talk about it.

Another shared: “Who has Richard bedded from the royal family? Have I missed something?!”

A third posted: ““have you ever met a royal” “yeah, great in bed” REVEREND RICHARD”.

Meanwhile, another commented on the dynamic between Rev. Richard and GK Barry, sharing: “i’m sorry but this gk barry / rev richard coles duo is one of the best this show has had in ages”.

Last night on I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here

On Sunday (24 November), Coleen Rooney and Dean McCullough faced a gruesome Bushtucker Trial, winning nine stars for the camp.

However, McCullough was again voted to face Monday’s trial “Jack the Screamstalk,” much to the frustrations of Ant and Dec (and the public).

Elsewhere, Jane Moore and Barry McGuigan argued over chores.

McGuigan and Danny Jones were voted by the public to become the new camp leaders.

The pair set about upsetting the jungle apple cart by selecting Moore and Tulisa to wash up, and Coleen Rooney and Maura Higgins to act out the duties of camp maintenance.

Despite Jones’s initial worry that women were being asked to do less physical tasks and that it could be taken negatively, McGuigan brushed it off.

Moore accused McGuigan of “misogyny” and later “ageism” when he used her age as a justification for his and Jones’s decisions.

I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! airs every day at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
