Iowa's top public-health official says resignation was 'totally my choice'

Iowa's top public-health official, who was criticized this week for unsubstantiated comments about food stamps, has resigned. Dr. Mariannette Miller-Meeks' resignation was announced this morning by Gov. Terry Branstad.
