Iron Maiden are concluding 2025 with a bang, celebrating their 50th year by resurrecting Live After Death, a revised limited-edition of their 40th anniversary collector’s 2LP set, out November 28, 2025, via Parlophone Records.
The release includes remastered audio on blue and yellow vinyl, the original gatefold sleeve, a replica World Slavery Tour program, a tour pass, and a 12-page booklet featuring a new essay titled, Rime and Punishment: Celebrating 40 Years of Live After Death; where Iron Maiden fan club editor Alexander Milas interviews Steve Harris, Nicko McBrain, Rod Smallwood, and illustrator Derek Riggs.
Live After Death was recorded during four nights Maiden played at Long Beach Arena in March 1985; the final side of the double album was recorded during the four nights they performed at Hammersmith Odeon in October 1984. Both sets were part of their World Slavery Tour, supporting the band’s 1984 album, Powerslave.
Iron Maiden continues to celebrate their legacy, as in 2025, the band received its own Royal Mail Stamp, honored by the Royal Mint with a collection of official coins. Moving into the new year, a documentary film created by Universal Pictures Content Group about Iron Maiden is set to release in early 2026, before the band continues their Run For Your Lives World Tour. Pre-order for the limited 40th anniversary Live Edition can be found here.

Another release to look out for from these legends is the third volume of the official Iron Maiden Colouring Book. Specifically designed to celebrate the band’s 50th anniversary and their Run For Your Lives Tour, Volume III will be available on November 21, 2025. Pre-orders are available at this location.

In case you missed it, Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson sang the US National Anthem on October 7th during the Los Angeles Kings vs. Colorado Avalanche game at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Last month, Dickinson performed the anthem during the Pittsburgh Steelers’ home opener against the Seattle Seahawks, which you can view here.
