It was not long ago that people enjoyed an amazing long weekend thanks to the Easter Bank holidays. However, it was bittersweet as it left many of us not wanting to go back to work.
The Easter weekend saw counties across the UK basking in the heat after temperatures hit a record high for 2022. People flocked to seaside towns or even ran to the airport to jet away for a mini-break.
Whilst, bagging an extra day to our weekend’s thanks to the Bank Holidays can make it a difficult task to go back to work – most people will welcome a long weekend with open arms. So, when is the next bank holiday in 2022?

Everyone knows that there is a Bank Holiday on the horizon shortly after Easter Monday. Some people have been left questioning whether Friday, April 29 is one of these dates.
The answer is no. There are no more bank holidays in April 2022. However, the next bank holiday does fall this weekend with the May Bank Holiday on Monday, May 2. Here is the full list of Bank Holidays in 2022 below:

There have already been two bank holidays in 2022. This was Good Friday which was on Friday, April 15 and Easter Monday (April 18).
Monday, May 2 – Early May bank holiday
Thursday, June 2 – Spring bank holiday
Friday, June 3 – Platinum Jubilee bank holiday
Monday, August 29 – Summer bank holiday
Monday, December 26 – Boxing Day
Tuesday, December 27 – Christmas Day (substitute day)
