It’s almost Christmas, and some people will be posting some last minute cards or presents.
You may still be waiting on an important delivery, as Covid has impacted post this year.
“Ongoing Covid restrictions, reduced air and freight capacity, high volumes and winter weather conditions are all impacting transportation and local delivery across the globe,” the Post Office said.

Is post delivered on Christmas Eve?
Yes, there will be deliveries on Christmas Eve, which is a Friday this year. You can find more information here.
There will also be collections, but if you post something on Christmas Eve you can expect a delay.
Is post delivered on the bank holidays?
Post will not be delivered or collected on Christmas Day or Boxing Day, as you might expect.
But, because they are on a Saturday and Sunday the bank holidays have been moved to Monday 27 December and Tuesday 28 December.

There will also be no collections on those days.
This means that if something isn’t delivered by Christmas Eve, you can expect to wait until Wednesday 29 December at the earliest to get it.
