UK – ITV has created four new leadership positions in its data division as part of a wider transformation of its group data and artificial intelligence (AI) strategy.
As part of the changes, Lara Izlan (pictured) has been promoted to director of data strategy and will be responsible for developing and delivering data and AI value use cases across the business.
Izlan’s role title was previously director, advertising data and analytics. She has been at ITV since January 2019.
Clemence Burnichon has been made director of data innovation and will be responsible for delivering ITV’s data strategy and fostering relationships with universities to deliver applied academic research to business opportunities.
Before joining ITV, Clemence worked at Depop and has previously held roles at Sainsburys and Net-A-Porter.
Mike Leverington will join ITV in March as director of data experimentation. Leverington previously worked at The Body Shop and has previously held roles at Aimia, Guardian and Royal Mail.
Kat Holmes has been hired as director of data governance, having previously worked at Travelex. Holmes has held roles at Soho House and Avis Budget Group.
All four will report into Sanjeevan Bala, group chief data and AI officer at ITV, who joined in May 2020 to help evolve and consolidate the company’s data assets in line with its ‘More than TV’ strategy.
Bala said: “I am delighted to have secured such diverse, talented leaders to help drive ITV’s More than TV strategy.”
