Ivanka Trump took inspiration from one of the world’s most stylish royals when it came to choosing a second look to wear to Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan’s wedding last week – opting for a stunning gown by one of Kate Middleton’s favorite designers.
The 41-year-old former first daughter, who attended Thursday’s glamorous event with her husband Jared Kushner, 42, took to Instagram on Sunday to reveal the first dress that she donned for the occasion, a $6,500 multi-colored cape dress from Jenny Packham.
Ivanka appears to have worn the rainbow-striped gown for the first half of the event, having already shared photos of herself sporting a beautiful pale blue gown from Alex Perry – which she was seen wearing while having a chat with Prince William at the wedding.
Last week, Ivanka posted a photo of herself and Jared dressed to the nines in their formal wear, while offering her congratulations to the Crown Prince and his new wife Rajwa.
However it seems the mother-of-three was eager to let her other ensemble choice get its moment in the spotlight, uploading an image of herself and her husband to her Instagram over the weekend.

It appears Ivanka wore the rainbow design – which featured a cape embellishment and a thin silver belt around the waist – to the reception, before changing into her blue gown for the banquet dinner hours later.
Ivanka and Jared were among a host of high-profile guests at the event – including First Lady Jill Biden, whose husband, President Joe Biden, has come under furious criticism at the hands of Ivanka’s father, former President Donald Trump.
Unsurprisingly, the former First Daughter was not pictured spending any time with Jill, 71, however she was seen engaged in a quiet conversation with Prince William, 40, whom she met four years ago with the Trump family went on an official trip to the UK and met several members of the royal family.
An image taken at the wedding shows Ivanka and William speaking to one another, while Kate, the Princess of Wales can be seen walking ahead of them.
One day after the wedding, Ivanka took to Instagram to offer her official congratulations to Jordan’s Crown Prince and his new wife, writing in a post shared on her Stories: ‘Congratulations to Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah and Princess Rajwa Al Hussein on their beautiful wedding in Jordan yesterday.
‘May their lives together be blessed with an abundance of love, health and happiness.’
She then shared a picture of the newlywed couple during the ceremony, before offering her followers a glimpse at her own stunning ensemble, sharing a snap of herself modeling a floor-length blue gown while posing with Jared, who looked dapper in a white-tie tuxedo.
Ivanka made no mention of her chat with William – or any of the other guests she may have seen during the event.

Ivanka and William, 40, first met back in 2019, when the former First Daughter joined her father, then-President Donald Trump, on an official visit to the UK
Their meeting comes four years after mother-of-three Ivanka first met the Prince and Princess of Wales – then the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge – when she joined her father on a three-day trip to the UK, where they marked the 75th anniversary of D-Day.
William and Ivanka were not pictured together during the Trumps’ trip, however they did both attend a State Banquet at Buckingham Palace so it’s likely that they crossed paths at least once.
During that same visit, Ivanka was seen spending time with William’s younger brother Prince Harry, 38, who was seen chatting with the then-first daughter as she and her father enjoyed a tour of the Royal Collection at the palace.
Donald Trump himself has made no secret of his love for the British monarchy – even going so far as to describe himself as a ‘friend and admirer of the [late] Queen.’
Following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, the former President wrote a moving tribute for DailyMail.com to laud her ‘grace, charm, nobility.’
But he was also keen to express his admiration for the next-in-line to the throne.
‘As we grieve,’ he wrote, ‘we are comforted that King Charles III will be a great and outstanding successor… Melania and I were blessed to get to know him well… he will be an inspiration to the British People.’
However, he has been far less complimentary about President Joe Biden on numerous occasions – and has previously taken verbal swipes at both him and his family.
President Joe Biden’s wife Jill and daughter Ashley were also in attendance at the event – however they were not seen spending any time with Ivanka and Jared

Trump has repeatedly slammed the Biden administration as ‘worst in history’ and described his political rival as a ‘low IQ person,’ ‘incompetent’ and ‘the most boring human being I’ve ever seen.’
In April, he also seized on claims made by Rep. James Comer and accused the Biden family of corruption on a mass scale on the same day the President launched his re-election campaign.
And so it seems likely that Ivanka Trump and Jill Biden did not interact at the wedding of Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan and his new wife Rajwa.
Although Trump’s presidency has since come to an end, Ivanka has actually found even more time to explore her love of travel, with the mother-of-three and her husband jetting off on multiple vacations over the past few months alone.
Before they traveled to Jordan for the royal wedding, the couple spent several days on a romantic trip in Greece – where they took in many of the country’s historical sights.
Ivanka documented much of the trip on her Instagram account, where she gushed about how much her visit to the country had meant to her.
‘During the pandemic I reread “The Odyssey” and fell in love Homer’s epic poem once again (I loved Robert Fitzgerald’s translation),’ she wrote alongside several photos from the trip.
She offered wishes of ‘love, health and happiness’ to the pair

‘Walking in the footsteps of Odysseus these past few days has been an extraordinary experience – ancient ruins and mythical landscapes came alive before my eyes as I explored this breathtaking country.
‘Thank you, Greece, for bringing the Odyssey to life in the most enchanting way possible.
‘Here’s to new adventures and embracing the spirit of Odysseus within us all!’
It is not known whether Ivanka and Jared have a particularly close connection to the Crown Prince of Jordan and his new wife, however the former First Daughter is known to have formed a friendship with the newlywed royal’s mother, Queen Rania, in the past.
In January 2017, days before her father officially became President, Ivanka was reported to have hosted Rania for a meeting at her offices at Trump Tower in New York City, according to Vanity Fair.
Just a few months later, Queen Rania and her husband, King Abdullah II Hussein, traveled to the US, where they met with then-President Trump and his wife Melania at the White House.
At the time, Rania was not pictured with Ivanka, however it’s likely that the pair crossed paths at some point during the royals’ visit to D.C.
