Jim Flaherty Stamps Last Canadian Penny

May 4 (Bloomberg) — Canadian Finance Minister Jim Flaherty pushes a button at the Royal Canadian Mint in Winnipeg, Manitoba, stamping the last one-cent coin. Canada minted its final penny today as Flaherty said the coin was too expensive to produce and no longer needed for business.
