Josh Widdicombe has shocked fans as he revealed he was related to a major royal.
The comedian, who hosts the Last Leg on Channel 4 along with Adam Hills and Alex Brooker, was discussing his appearance on the new series of Who Do You Think You Are?
Josh’s episode is the first to be shown from the series on October 12 on BBC One.

And he revealed he was actually related to someone hugely famous from history.
Josh is actually the 15 times great grandson of British King Henry VIII.
And he also has familial links to Edward Longshanks – King of England from 1272 to 1307 – it was revealed on the Channel 4 programme.
Josh said: “Dame judy dench isn’t episode number one…she’s not the 15 times great grandson of Henry VIII.”
He then joked to his two co-hosts: “Bit more respect from you two in the future.
“Next month I’m doing the Royal Variety performance for the first time, I thought I’d been booked as a comedian but I think I’m in the box.”
Adam Hills revealed he had already had a sneak peek at the episode.
The Last Leg is on Fridays on Channel 4 at 10pm.
